Personality and Teaching Style

For my personality quiz, I got an Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging type and for my teaching style, I got a Sensing, and Sequential style followed by Active, and Visual. I believe my personality affects my content choice because I believe in firmly in owning and doing your best to understand the world you find yourself in beyond your personal sphere, and a big part of that is understanding how we as a people got here. I am someone who wants a person to understand the specific circumstances, social-climate, and perspective before passing judgement on someone, something, whether that is today, or in the distant past. I think my personality puts me in a good place to be able to level with students and get them to care about and enjoy thing that they off the cuff find boring, dry, or consequential  to their lives.  As far as teaching style goes, I really strive to bring history, civics, etc. to life for students and show them the immense knowledge, wisdom, and empowerment that comes
